urious about my background on how and why I am involved in Feng Shui (FS)?

Just like many others, my first step started with reading about Feng Shui from books. After reading numerous FS books in the market, I realized that reading books alone was insufficient to gain in depth knowledge. Therefore, I decided to continue the quest for knowledge by searching for good masters to learn from. From that point on, I attended courses, having one to one teaching by masters. I even flew all the way to Toronto to study under the tutelage of Master Joseph Yu, a well known FS Master originated from Hong Kong. This had always been part of my quest for knowledge and understanding of FS. After years of learning, training and consistence practice and research, I have graduated and am now a certified classical Feng Shui practitioner.
I do not believe in the use of 'put' or ‘add on’ remedies i.e. placing dragons, frogs, turtles, sailing ships etc. Classical Feng Shui texts do not use 'put' strategies. Such strategies are a contemporary or new age FS. Neither do I use religion like Taoist’s or Buddhist’s method. Thus, I do not use Ba-Gua for main door nor Talisman in my FS practice. FS is not a religion. However, if the person feels good physically or subconsciously by placing the dragons, three-legged toad etc, I will not discourage my clients from using it. Hence, in my consultation I do not recommend putting figurines here or there. Neither do I sell any products. After consultation visit, I will provide paper audit suggesting the remedies. My client may keep it for reference.
The other point I would like to mention is my consultation does not recommend breaking wall(s). However, if the customer is planning a renovation and would like to improve further, why not? There is a Chinese saying that a FS Master can 'cover up' the effectiveness of his skill for 8-10 years. On the contrary, an effective solution can be gauged or felt as soon as one to two months. It can be sooner in some cases.
Overall, Feng Shui is not only about enhancing wealth but also about improving inter- relationship and personal health other than betterment of living or working environment.
In addition, I provide date selections for auspicious date and time for important events such as moving in to house or office, opening ceremony and key events.
